This mom is a real go-getter and I’ve known her for along time. She is smart, kind, athletic, beautiful, caring, and her family is lucky to have her! IT was fun being pregnant with twins at the same time as Courtney. We would text pictures or updates occasionally or I’d ask how to transition to big kid beds without losing my mind! Courtney was always there for support. This last summer we got to meet up and I must say, her kids are as sweet as she is. You can check her out on Instagram @simm.court
Something fun we enjoy doing: One of our favorite things to do as a family is to visit the zoo. The kids never tire of seeing all the animals or riding the carousel. Some of our favorites are the elephants, giraffes, and polar bears.
Favorite twin parenting memory: This one might be cliche, but my favorite twin moment was holding the both of them together for the first time. After a difficult and stressful pregnancy that ended in an emergency C-section at 35 weeks, holding those boys for the first time together was awe-inspiring.
Favorite Hack/Tip: When the twins were starting solid foods, it was quite the challenge since they didn’t like eating from a spoon and I also had 2 older kids to help feed or prepare food for. I stumbled upon reusable pouches for baby food, so I bough some to try out. I would fill the pouches with store bought baby food at meal time and holy smokes! It made feeding the twins so much easier and less stressful. As they got older they started holding the pouches themselves and eating on their own!
